she did great!

the sleep study last night was a success...off oxygen, her blood oxygen levels stayed in the mid 90's with just a couple of dips into the 80's.

what does that mean you might ask?  in most cases...you and i have a blood oxygen level around 96 - 100.  in our altitude and thinner air, it may be a number or two lower.  Hannah reaches 96-100 with the help of 1/16 of a liter of oxygen full time.  if she did not have it on, she would be in the low to mid 90's.  typically, anything over 92 is "safe"

so her couple of dips into the 80's only lasted a second or two, and she bounced back on her own...no stimulation....ie. vigorous back rubbing and or repositioning her.

some people however live with their oxygen levels in the 70s...but the higher the better for her brain development.

go Hannah go!

we left there at 6 AM this morning, i stopped to get coffee and breakfast from Starbucks...thank goodness for Starbucks drive thru...love that!
we are home now and going to give Hannah a bath, go for a walk (its going to be warm today!) and finish getting ready for winter...stack firewood, take the umbrella down, work on the railing and just enjoy the short day.

happy daylight savings day!
