happy 8 weeks hannah!

i cant believe it has been 2 months already...how much we have learned about you and how precious your little body is. you have seen more doctors in the last 8 weeks than most people see in an entire lifetime.

your dad and i took you to our "staple" dinner out last night...the Yard House...where we visited about once a week before you arrived, but haven't been to in the last 8 weeks...we toasted to you sweet baby Hannah...may you grow to love that place...just not the beer quite yet...however, your dad wonders what you will think of beer.

you are a great little person...
you sleep well
when you are awake you are happy
your eyelashes are getting long
your light brown hair is so soft
you are growing out of your preemie clothes...finally we can start to use the oh so cute newborn outfits...even the pink ones
we have gotten used to your snoring and grunting
your eyes are still grey...your dad hopes they look like mine someday...isn't that sweet of him
we've gotten used to the fold in your ear...but Dr Stacy will help you with that too
we've gotten used to your cleft and the NAM and changing your tape/rubber bands everyday...so have you

we've gotten used to your oxygen and have only tripped on the the tube a couple of times

we've gotten used to your g-tube and changing the dressing and tape everyday...so have you

your dad can almost change your g-tube as fast as i can

he is not quite close to changing as many diapers as i have and he still cant "smell" your dirty diaper...maybe that is so he doesn't have to change the "dirty" ones
you can eat more than half of each feeding from the bottle...
you love when your cousin Tripp sings sweet songs to you

we still love the "worth it" chair...we spend many hours in it each day
we talk to grandma, grandpa, aunt Chris, aunt Kathy, aunt colleen, uncle Guido, Tripp & Finn almost everyday on skype...if anyone else has skype and wants to see you live...let us know, we are here at 12, 3, 6 & 9 our time...8 times a day

your dog Evy wants to love love love you...she sleeps by your crib and wants to lick you whenever possible...

ps...thanks to aunt Sarah for the awesome photos, they were actually taken when you were 6 weeks old, but i couldn't resist...i just love her work.
